regiobus and its partner HOTSPLOTS have been bringing high-performance internet to vehicles since 2019. The passenger Wifi was the first application. Thanks to the flexible IT infrastructure in the vehicle, the IT requirements of regiobus & the reliable partner HOTSPLOTS, further IT services benefit from the solution.
This increases passenger comfort and improves the information about the fleet.

Solution
With HOTSPLOTS, suitable hardware was acquired, professionally installed & passenger Wifi set up. The connection of further IT components, use of further VPN tunnels, integration of the passenger TV, as well as research projects for passenger surveys were put into operation.
