In countless libraries, the facility for users to research information conveniently on their own smartphones or tablets is now regarded as a standard service. HOTSPLOTS is always there to help you: we deal with the network planning and advise you on an overall system that meets your requirements. Our technicians or partners will handle the on-site installation and we take care of the equipment while it is running through our free customer and end user support.
Using HOTSPLOTS WiFi solutions, you can offer rapid and flexible internet access to your visitors. You decide how you want to enable access:
- Direct-Login — free of charge, through simple acceptance of the conditions of use,
- User-Login — via registration on hotsplots.de or
- Ticket-Login — on the basis of tickets (vouchers).
Especially for libraries, the login via the login information of the library card, just like your visitors know it from the webOPAC catalogue, is possible. Authentication is thereby carried out through the web-based allegro-OEB interface of your library.
On request, user access can be limited on a temporal basis or by setting a maximum data volume.
HOTSPLOTS offers flexible solutions regarding access control as well as extensive statistic evaluation of the hotspot usage.
