Firm­ware for hot­spot routers

From this page you can down­load a tail­or-made firm­ware ver­si­on, with which you can turn a small, power-saving Wi-Fi rou­ter into a Wi-Fi hotspot.

  •  Use the­se images if your rou­ter still has the ori­gi­nal firmware.
  • Use the­se images if the rou­ter alre­a­dy runs on our firmware.

      The­re are bat­ches of Net­gear rou­ters that requi­re a spe­ci­fic file name when flas­hing for the first time. If the error mes­sa­ge “wrong file name” appears, rena­me the file to e.g. “WNDR3700-V1.0.4.35NA.img”.

      The WNDR3700 is only sup­port­ed up to ver­si­on v2. From v3 onwards, limi­t­ed hard­ware has been instal­led that we can­not support.
